National Junior Honor Society

What is NJHS?

BRIDGEWAY ISLAND ELEMENTARY- National Junior Honors Society is an after school program for 6th - 8th grade academically high-achieving, service oriented students who want to become leaders in their school. The program is for students with a G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher. Students must complete 8 hours of community service over the whole year. Most of the community projects are outside of Bridgeway, but they work on Trick or Treat for UNICEF and Pennies for Patients on campus. Applications are accepted in the beginning of the school year and at the start at the semester.  Visit the NJHS website here to learn more.
